For the past year, ONE America and Washington CAN have been working together to develop a powerbuilding alignment table with 7 other organizations across Washington State. The purpose is to build and wield serious electoral power in Washington State and advance a shared political power building strategy that deepens their bases through field and elections.
This September, they launched the WA State Power Building Table Campaign Leadership School with a convening of over 40 staff and leaders across the various organizations and trainings on power led by Grassroots Power Project and base building and leadership development led by Yesenia Sanchez, regional director for western region.
The training energized folks, anchoring relationship building to get to know each other across organizations , cemented the purpose and importance of this table and provided a layout of the work ahead- collective canvassing campaign targeting key races this election cycle.
The momentum is building for great things ahead!
