House Republicans are expected to push the tax overhaul through this week. The plan includes major tax increases on middle-class families. The Senate follows with their tax plan shortly after.

Joe Dinkin, national campaigns director with the Working Families Party, will celebrate last week’s tremendous election wins and walk through how they were won and what they mean for the tax fight and for 2018.
Joni Bruner, volunteer organizer with Alaska Grassroots Alliance, will report from Anchorage on efforts to persuade two Republican senators to reject the tax plan that hurts Alaska residents.
Sunjeev Bery, campaign director with MoveOn.org, will discuss actions to stop the tax plan that is really a return of Trumpcare.
Jennifer Epps-Addison, network president and co-executive director of the Center for Popular Democracy, will host the call.
